Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

£9 from www.poolepercussion.com, good quick postage as well. I'd always used Vater sticks but I was sick of how quickly they broke and a friend reccommended Vic Firths. I really like John Dolmayan's drumming so I thought why not buy a pair.

They are fairly light but have a really good rebound from the cymbals. The tip is fairly small but it gives good sound on cymbals and drums, the sticks are a good length. These sticks are really damn strong too, ive had them about 2 months now and they are still going ok, apart from a few splits on the tips. They refuse to split right in half like Vaters tend to.

Very high quality sticks, nicely balanced, very very good durability as well.

Really good sticks all round.
